Bro Micah Mathura was born and brought up in a Christian home in the community of Maran, St. John.  At the age of fourteen (14) he personally accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and was baptized that same year, 1997, and became a member of House Of Praise.

As a young believer, Bro. Micah's passion for music and in particular the keyboard and saxophone intensified.  Daily he studied the lessons and with the God given ability, he became an expert in his field.

He played music for the Sunday School Department, Youth services, Men and Women Ministries and every Sunday during morning and evening worship services.  As a result he became a demand throughout Grenada by churches, groups, committees, schools among others.  He is indeed a skilful player.

Bro. Micah attended and participated in many music and worship seminars which included an Advanced Worship Training Seminar (ASAPH) held in the Bahamas in 2004.  There, he had the opportunities to interact and learn form well renowned musicians such as Dr. Ron Kenoly, Dr. Myles Munroe and Dr. Richard Pinder.

Bro. Micah now serves as Chief Musician and Director of Music at House Of Praise.  He has facilitated seminars locally and regionally.  He is a worship minister and also holds the position of Assistant Choir Director.  He is a Lay Minister with the Open Bible Standard Churches Inc.  Bro. Micah is happily Married to Karen Mathura for the past 3 years.
