Carlyle was born and brought up in a small agricultural village two miles from the town of Gouyave called Gouyave Estate. He is also a past student of St. John's Christian Secondary School.

‘Salco' as he is often referred to, has been serving the Lord Jesus Christ for the last  twenty nine (29) years and has been an active member of House of Praise.  He has served as a Youth Leader, Sunday School Teacher and Trainer, Usher, President of the local Men's ministry, Executive committee member of the National Men's Ministry among others.  In addition, he is responsible for the Audio Ministry. 

He holds a degree in Theology from Florida Institute of Bible Studies.  At present he is a Licensed Minister with the Open Bible Standard Churches.  He is a very meticulous and industrious minister who is gifted with great administrative skills.  In addition, he is known for his extra ordinary commitment to the ministry and the selfless service rendered at all times.
